The following is an overview of the products we manufacture:
We produce SPF stud lumber. All of our round wood
supply comes from within the Province of Nova Scotia. Our lumber is
primarily sold in 8' lengths; we also produce 9', 7', and 6' lengths. We
saw 1x3, 1x4, 2x3, 2x4, and 2x6 in the following grades:
Premium -
is a high quality with no wane, D4S, KD-HT product
Stud Regular - is a D4S KD-HT
product
Mill Run Rough - is a rough,
green product primarily used for pallets and fencing
All of our grades are approved with the
MLB (Maritime Lumber Bureau)
Grade Stamp which is accredited by the
CLSAB (Canadian Lumber
Standards Accreditation Board) and the
ALS (American Lumber Standard
Board of Review).
Ledwidge Lumber is a certified
C-TPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) member, MLB
stakeholder,
FPANS (Forest Products Association of Nova Scotia) member,
NFA (Nova Forest
Alliance) partner, CWF
(Canadian Woodlands Forum) member, Forentex member, and is recognized as a Canadian Heat
Treatment Wood Products Certified (CHTWP) facility.
