DEMO International 2008 Site Announced
Canadians Woodlands Forum's flagship event: DEMO International 2008
June 2006 - The Canadian Woodlands Forum
is pleased to announce the date and location of its flagship, live forestry
show, DEMO Internationalâ 2008.
It will be held September 18-20, 2008, on Ledwidge Lumber's Miller Road
property.
The host for the show, Ledwidge Lumber, is based in
Enfield, Nova Scotia. The site which is situated a mere 30 minute ride from the
Halifax Airport will offer exhibitors a wide range of forest in which to
demonstrate their latest technology.
Ledwidge Lumber is a
family owned business established in 1943. The Company has withstood the tests
of time and has grown from a one-man operation to a Company supporting three
generations of family; and to one of the largest lumber producers in the
province that now employs over 100 people. The Ledwidge family takes pride in
their business that they have built on honesty and hard work. The CWF is proud
to be associated with them in this project.
This will
be the 11th edition of the DEMO Internationalâ
show and it will be the first time it has ever been held in the Canadian
Maritimes.
Halifax is
a city that is vibrant, eclectic and rich in history. It has much to offer in
the way of restaurants, cultural activities and historic settings. We believe
that Canadians and international visitors will jump at the chance to visit
beautiful Nova Scotia while taking in one of North America’s most unique
forestry shows.
